I need to find a new home for my dog(Diamond)because I dont have the time for her so what would be the right price to ask for her I just don’t want to say free to a good home because then I will have no idea if she ends up in a good or bad home anyway if you know anybody who lives in Atlanta Georgia and is looking for a pit bull puppy let me know here is her Dogster profile http://www.dogster.com/dogs/661740
I have a mix rescue dog about a year old and have had her about two weeks. I found her in the back room having a seizure. She was shaking all over. Thought she had a nail caught in carpet at first and was just freaking out. But she wasn’t stuck on anything. She was pretty stiff as I held her and all of a sudden she walked away, then was running around like crazy, like nothing ever happened. My vet is out of the office this afternoon. This happened about 2 hours ago and she is her normal self since. I have never had such a young dog have seizures. She was in the back stealing the cat’s can of food and ate that. I know cat food isn’t good for dogs, but haven’t had a dog who hasn’t stole the cats food every chance they got. Anybody know what might be going on? I am waiting for another vet to give me a call back, but I don’t want to be wasting valuable time if she needs to be seen immediately. Any help is appreciated.
a few months ago i needed to rehome one of my dogs, she knew alot about the breed..that very same day she took the dog home.
So the next day she calls to tell me that her dog and mine were getting along. The day after or next 2 days she calls again and tells me that the dog i gave her ripped her new carpet and so on…tells me that she doesnt like the dog and wants to return it but i have to go and pick him up coz she didnt have a car that day. i picked up the dog and looked at the ripped carpet..when i got to her apartment, the place didnt seem like the carpet was new at all…
MY QUESTION :
DO I HAVE TO PAY FOR THE RIPPED CARPET THAT MY DOG CAUSED CONSIDERING I DIDNT BRING THE DOG TO HER HOUSE AND THE DOG WASNT IN MY POSSESSION ???
NOW SHE WANTS TO FILE AT A MILITARY CLAIMS COURT FOR ME TO PAY FOR THE DAMAGES !!!
HOW DO I KNOW IF HER DOG DIDNT DO THAT OR SHE DID SOMETHIN TO MY DOG AND MADE HIM DO THAT…
BTW the dog never bit, chewed or ripped anythin at my house.
NEED SERIOUS REPLIES PLEASE, I NEED TO KNOW IF SHE CAN DO THAT.
WHEN I REHOMED MY DOG, I DIDNT ASK FOR ANY MONEY, JUST A GOOD HOME…DIDNT HAVE A CONTRACT OR ANYTHING.
Hi im planning on getting a dog. Im wondering if a rescue will deny me if i dont have experience with dogs? Well i have experience i just never had one personally. i have pretty large fenced in yard.i own a house ,not rent, and live in a neighborhood. i have 3 teenagers in the house with one leaving this summer for college.
We rescued a dog in February. He had some issues when we first got him but with training we were able to get him settled in. He loved other dogs and people. He has started to bond with my husband and myself and since then he has started to get aggressive towards friends and other dogs. About that time we started him on Revolution for heartworm. Does anyone know if there are side affects from this drug?
We got a dog from the rescue centre and he is lovely, house trained and very affectionate. The problem is when he is in the car or when he sees other dogs, he whines very loudly. It is very very loud and high pitched and makes driving difficult and nothing seems to stop him. Any ideas please?

We have just rescued a 2 year old jack russell. She has had her first injections and the rescue centre have told us to keep her in til she has her second lot. Is this really necessary? She was on the street, then the RSPCA centre for a week and finally at the rescue centre before she got her jabs. The rescue centre walked the dogs on their farm land and let the dogs socialise together. She looks like she has been well cared for in the past and is not under weight. We do not live in an area that is frequented with strays so I would have thought a quick walk around the pavements would be ok. Would value any opinions
