We got a Shitz Tzu Terrier and was told it was 2 year old we had it a whole 6 month and it died took it to the vets it turns out it had died of old age. So their are also alot of risks with buying from rescue. Nowadays its not worth going to rescue homes as the prices are far to high and if they have not being Neutered/Spayed they expect you to pay for that too which if you do not have it done within 3-4 month of receiving your dog you will have it taken off you.

She cost £100 but that was because she was a pedigree, cross breads were £75. She came mircochipped, with collar, bowl, food and she had her jabs. I think that was quite reasonable, rescue centres are all different, some ask for donations, others have a set price. your best bet is too ring them up and discuss it with them.
