Hey, i don’t really know,i think you just give them a donation, but i’m thinking about getting a dog from the Glasgow dog and cat home! =)

i paid £75 for my dog

Here in the U.S. it doesn’t really cost that much. Not nearly as much as buying one from a breeder. Plus, you get the feeling you are doing something good. I have a rescue german Shepherd and she is the best.

    This is the website:

There’s a contact button – it looks like they accept donations, but there may be a minmum donation …. ask.

The dogs home in our town charges a minimum donation of £70.

I would call them and ask. All shelters have different fees associated with adoption. Good Luck and thanks for adopting!!!

Around £75. The website of the Dog home will tell you how much and what you have to do.

Each centre is different. You should expect a figure around £80. The RSPCA ask for around £90 and i got my dog for £85.

Best thing you can do, my friend, is call them and enquire.

I hope you choose to rehome and give a dog whose had a tough start in life a good home.

    Good luck : ) !!

Dogs Trust and RSPCA are between £60 and £150 if that’s any help – why not ring and ask them?

I got my boxer from a rescue centre. She cost £100 but that was because she was a pedigree, cross breads were £75. She came mircochipped, with collar, bowl, food and she had her jabs.

I think that was quite reasonable, rescue centres are all different, some ask for donations, others have a set price. your best bet is too ring them up and discuss it with them.

My sister adopted two from a rescue home I will ask her. You are doing something wonderful and I admire you for this action. why not call and find out from the home

first off you have to give a donation and then it cost as you have to buy a bed, food, leads, bowls etc.
    all in about 200

Nowadays its not worth going to rescue homes as the prices are far to high and if they have not being Neutered/Spayed they expect you to pay for that too which if you do not have it done within 3-4 month of receiving your dog you will have it taken off you.

We got a Shitz Tzu Terrier and was told it was 2 year old we had it a whole 6 month and it died took it to the vets it turns out it had died of old age.

So their are also alot of risks with buying from rescue.
