i have spent hours with my beloved rescue dog. 2 walks a day (my poor legs) lots of treats and many tricks later we are dying to go to a novice dog show to seek advice and also interact with other canines lol. i would love to go and see 1 and maybe in the future enter my moggy. i’m in wolverhampton, west mids if you know of any close by me?

wow someone who actually lives near me.

ive looked on the inet for you and no luck sorry.

id go to a good newsagent (try whsmith) and buy lots of dog magazines, there should be loads of shows in there.

    good luck x

Two walks a day and your legs are tired? Ha! That’s nothing! Try walking a steer twice a day.
Just kidding! I’m sure you work hard.

I have no idea where Wolverhampton is. Try asking breeders in your area, vets, or dog shelters or enthusiasts. Asking breeders are probably your best shot in finding a place to show your dog.
    Good luck!

try the kennel club website they will give a list of show that are on closeby. You can also try Our Dogs and Dog world magazine where they have details of forthcoming shows.
When at a show you will be able to pick up schedules for future evens. Your local cattle shows often have a dog class which is for fun but a good place to start no pressure.

    Hi
Do you mean Novice Obdedience or companion shows which have a few fun obedience classes?
Have a look at this site:
The best way to find out where the smaller companion shows are is to look in your local paper, or join a local training class which you can find here:
These 2 sites may also help you:
Most Companion dog shows tend to be held in the summer, but there are still a few around in other months if you join a Club they may have matches etc. held in the evenings.
    Good Luck
