    Try confining your puppy in one room, uisng babay gates or doors, or in an Xpen while you crate train.
    If you want your dog to learn its a good, safe place to be, you have to take the time.

    I have 8 nieces and nephews and none of them scream bloody murder for hours when it’s time to lay down. This video is for ppl that don’t have a life.

    My rott-pit mix pup hates her crate. What should I do? I haven’t left her in there for long, but she whines and howls for the whole time. Greats tips but honestly who has time to take a whole week to wait on your pup to want to go in her crate?

    Hi. Can a dog crate be placed outside? The crate is about the same size as my couch, it’s BIG… should a puppy stay on the leash for the entire day? (not tied up somewhere but with the leash on and me holding it)…thnx in advance..

    hi. you don’t have to take my advice since i have never had boxers. but i would say that your pup will most likely scratch and whine especially if your other dog is not in a create (you probably get her/him already and know this). but i would say that you might wanna separate them when training the pup. that way she has less distractions and won’t feel like she is being punished while the other is free

    We already have a 5 yr old Boxer, and we’re getting a new boxer pup in a few days. Will my new pup whine all day and scratch the crate to get out and play with our older dog? Should I seperate them while crate training the pup?

  • GregRodg

    GSD = German Shepherd Dog

  • PornFlakes21

    ok i’ve heard this term a lot “GSD” what does that mean?

  • blustrgrl13

    I have work with dogs for over 10 years and this is all wrong! The comments and some of the video… Crates are great but a dog should NEVER be in one for more then 5 to 6 hours at the most… I could go on but you people should call a trainer or talk to your vet.

  • akgriffin

    jordanrivers1, i have to say you are wrong. i feed my GSD 2 times a day in her crate. when she gets ready to eat she sits by the dog food, then i go dump the food then call her to come eat. then about 30min later i will take her out to do her business. ive had her for a year and she will not go in a crate unless its the last resort

  • SoonerinCollege

    that’s the whole point of crate training… so they won’t use the bathroom.

  • mav5150

    thats not true at all, puppies by nature and instinct would not do their business inside their den or what we call crate,,unless we leave em inside the crate for long hours which is not good,
